Ninkasi was apparently the Sumerian goddess of fermentation. That follows. Tonight's brew was their Maiden the Shade specialty ale. It had a fresh and complex nose. With an ibu of 72 it was definitely on the hoppy and bitter. $5.99 For a big bottle. Very nice ale, and a good complement to the cornbread.
